Responsibilities
As a Chemical Engineer you will carry-out research and development activities I efforts to advance or create new battery chemistries and electrochemical energy storage solutions.
- Conduct research and development activities in efforts to advance or create new battery chemistries and energy storage solutions.
- Create and present reports on the company’s research and development status, goals and or progress.
- Work with customers to develop customized chemistries and solutions for their application.
- Work with internal teams to ensure appropriate levels of validation and verification and conducted to demonstrate that the system level requirements can be met.
- Represent the company as a technical expert for ongoing project delivery and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a STEM subject equivalent or related to Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrochemistry or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Doctoral level degree is preferred.
- Knowledge on battery technologies.
- Strong experience with battery safety and performance testing equipment and data acquisition systems.
- Experience in developing electrochemical and/or thermal models for batteries.
